How do I apply for Lady Ho Tung Hall?
Students can apply through Round II Admission via HKU Portal.
Steps as the follows:
Login to HKU Portal > Self Service > Other Self Service > Residential Hall Membership
and fill in the information.

Do I need to attend an interview? What is the format?
Yes.
After the application is submitted online, you might be invited to attend an interview.
The interview will be conducted either in groups or individually depending on the number of people.

What are the criteria considered in my application to hall?
Factors deciding whether you will be admitted or not including your basic backgrounds (such as home distance and living environment), and your interview performance.

If I am unable to live in hall, can I still join the activities of Lady Ho Tung Hall?
Sure!
If you want to experience hall life but are unable to live in hall, you can be an affiliated member. Being an affiliate, you will be able to join our teams and attend our hall functions, moreover, you will also get 10 overnight stays in our hall for free!
You can get the application form from Registry Office and hand it in to the office of Student Affairs or our Hall Office. You can as well come to our counter on campus in September to get more information or contact our General Secretary Waterlily (6404 7349).
